FSC Announces New President/CEO

FAMILY SERVICE CENTER OF SC ANNOUNCES PROMOTION OF J. RUSSELL KNIGHT AS PRESIDENT/CEO

 

Columbia, SC – The Board of Directors of Family Service Center of SC today announced the promotion of J. Russell Knight as President/CEO of the agency. Knight has been serving in the role of Interim President/CEO since March 2008 and has been employed with the organization since November 1998.

 

Trish Proctor, Chairperson of Family Service Center’s Board of Directors, said today: “After observing Russell’s leadership during his interim role, the Board voted to move Russell from his interim position into the President/CEO position effective immediately. The Board feels his demonstrated leadership over the past 14 months, his success with running the WIA program, and his passion for the agency will be instrumental in driving the performance of Family Service Center to its full potential.”
