Continuing Education Workshops
Family Service Center's Community Services Division is pleased to present the
Summer/Fall 2006 Schedule of Continuing Education Workshops. The one-hour brown bag
"lunch & learn" presentations are a perfect way to obtain CEU's, learn skills, increase
knowledge and network with other professionals! Just bring your lunch. Drinks and chips
are provided. The cost is just $10.00. Presentations are the second Tuesday of each month
from 12:15 to 1:30 pm at Family Service Center - 1800 Main Street, Columbia. For more information,

Parent Survival Training Series
FSC will also be sponsoring Parent Survival Training Series. The 8 weekly sessions are held on
Mondays from 6 - 7:30pm at Family Service Center - 1800 Main Street, Columbia. Fall classes
will begin September 11, 2006. Objectives of the sessions will be:
- Increase parenting skills and knowledge
- Identify age appropriate tasks/responsibilities
- Describe alternative discipline strategies
The cost of the series is $80.00 or $10.00 per session. Fees may be reduced or
waive based on ability to pay. Certificates are awarded at
