In addition to the many financial classes and workshops we offer, we also provide one-on-one and group counseling on a wide variety of housing-related subjects.

Whether you are threatened by foreclosure, concerned about rising mortgage payments or just need answers to your housing questions, you can rely on FSC for help. Our qualified counselors can work with you on:

Avoiding Home Foreclosure: NOW is the time to act if you are concerned about falling behind on housing payments. The more quickly you act today, the better your chances of maintaining your home. We will help you communicate with lenders, understand the alternatives to foreclosure and establish savings and payment plans for your unique situation.
Opportunities in Reverse Mortgages: Our counselors will discuss the possibility of a reverse mortgage for clients 62 and older. Your equity in your home may be a good source of income for you, but it’s important to discuss the benefits and drawbacks of this new program. FSC counselors can discuss your options and, if appropriate, help you secure a reverse mortgage.
